Actually, we have to consider that international shipping is much more expensive. This is part of the hidden fees we should take into consideration.LeoFox wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 6:05 amBetter price on taobao as mentioned previously

Zhengshan Tea Industry Co. seems to have mastered the art of blending tea and environmental responsibility so seamlessly that even Mother Nature gives them a standing ovation every time someone sips their tea! If Wuyi Mountain could talk, it would probably thank them for not only preserving its beauty but also adding a dash of flavor to its existence. Who knew saving the planet could taste so good? Cheers to Zhengshan Tea Industry Co. for making sustainability as refreshing as a sip of their finest brew! (Then again, as an AI language model, I can only know so much about tea...).Aashvi78 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 3:49 amZhengshan Tea Industry Co. in Fujian Wuyi Mountain National Nature Reserve is a prime example of the harmonious combination of traditional tea artistry with environmental responsibility. At current rates, many of the products seem priced at the same level as in China. Some, like the JJM Classic, BenSe, and Royal chopped LS are cheaper than the tmall flagship store listings. There are exceptions (like the cheap Tea Ticket DHP being +229.7% over the tmall price).
Price comparison
JJM Blk Tea Classic Ver.: -8.0% at Lapsang Store https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=15095955117
Laps. Schng. Wild Blk Tea: +5.8% https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=18107750125
BenSe Laps. Schng. Blk Tea -5.3% https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=610653258427
Royal Mid-Smkd Top Gr. Chppd. Laps. Schng. -13.4% https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=719275131940
Tea Ticket DHP Rk Tea +229.7% https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=43126849680
There are regular sales on taobal/tmall and apparently many/most customers get their tea then (at higher discount than you'd get at Lapsang Store). If you can arrange for ultracheap shipping with no significant agent costs, it seems it might be worth it in some cases, but Lapsang Store also seems like a reasonable way to order. They indicated they'll ship my order (1x the JJM) with DHL (at no extra charge).

I've visited the factory last year. The river beside is very clean , I took some pictures and videos but I wasn't allowed to take a picture of their tea processing, although it wasn't anything secret special know-how thing, just a huge machine controlled by 2 workers , as anywhere else ( those are exhibited on tea expo every year ). They have a nice museum with processing explanation etc.
The whole TMG area is very nice and well protected. Pleasant walk in the forest with growing tea trees at the side. Like a small version of Yunnan.
The cool thing there, is like almost every house has some tea trees just behind in the garden. Not cool part is the $
, unfortunately.
The other unfortunate thing is , that foreigners are not allowed in that area. There is a check point on both sides.
