Finally putting in a big order with HY Chen for roasted DongDing, roasted Lishan, a few blacks and bug bitten, but realizing now with Tillerman shuttered that I’ll need to source most low roast high mountain elsewhere. Hmmm

Organizing teas from our HY Chen group buy. Well stocked for a while 🍃

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Maple besides instagram?
His teas look very interesting, but I don't have an account and would prefer to not make one just for this if possible.
Thanks.

Has anyone tried https://thetea.pl/en/ recently? I tried them in 2022 and ranked them well but could’ve used a bit of improvement. It’s been 2 years since then. Does any one have a current impression of them?

I heard mixed things about them. Maybe some teas are good?

Yuchi wild black, the yuchi assam and some ming jian oolong are my favorites there. There is a lot of unique teas that you won't find most places there with good quality.

I liked many of their teas, particularly their Yuchi assam and wild unsmoked lapsang. However, the last time I bought from them was in 2022 or 2021.

It seems like the Yuchi teas are the way to go but assams are a no-go for me. Too jittery. Shipping from Poland wasn’t as bad as I expected.

I can’t do assams (too jittery) but the wild black sounds good. Is Camillia formosensis? I may have to place an order but admit I’m craving greener teas lately.

I'm editing this post to make it more general in the hope that people will respond.

With well-regarded vendors like Tillerman and now Ethan closing, where is everyone getting their Taiwanese oolongs these days? Floating Leaves? Tea Masters? Hojo? New vendors like Rivers & Lakes are selling gaoshan, alongside vendors like Red Blossom, Té Company, and Teance, which we don't hear much about on this forum.

I seem to be exploring other tea types lately because it's hard to find quality sources for gaoshan. I've enjoyed most of the tea I've bought from Wang, which has little bitterness and nice, fruity flavours. Are there other oolong vendors like this? I'll be getting an order from Tea Masters in the new year and that might solve my problem, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.
