Thanks! Oops I copy + pasted wrong characters. Am I mistaken that this one is zhuni? I vaguely remember seeing a post from Dr. Lu suggesting that most of these Fuji seal pots are zhuni but I can’t seem to find it.Bok wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 9:10 pmSeal reads Fuji not Zhuni. I'd lean towards early ROC. Very nice pot! Lovely spout design. Makes all the difference to all the ugliness that happened afterwards...Chadrinkincat wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:26 pmA newly arrived tea set w/ same exact cups and plates as my other set. The shui ping of this one is of much better quality though. 朱泥 Seal on handle. Serious damage to lid which is a bummer but totally worth paying for pro repair. More pictures.....
I believe this one is LQER zhuni but I could be mistaken.

Judging by the quality of this pot, I’m guessing those nzwh pots are pretty damn nice

It’s Zhuni alright. Not much Hongni from that period...

Not sure if this is how this thread is supposed to be used, but in the English-language Yixing books thread folks seemed interested in different versions of the "Three Friends of Winter" teapot design, and I think this is the most different one I've seen, a 2002 teapot by Luo Xiaoping.

You should find a master to repair your lid. No matter Kintsugi or metal staple repair. or just remove the glue inside the lid. it's very nice and rare pot.Bok wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 9:10 pmSeal reads Fuji not Zhuni. @maple
I’m planning to reach out to Nissan to see the possible options. I’d most likely opt for silver staples on this one.

Curious, how does pricing on staples work more or less?Chadrinkincat wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 12:28 pmI’m planning to reach out to Nissan to see the possible options. I’d most likely opt for silver staples on this one.

Something more humble for a change… Han Gentleman, from the 70s.
Needed a pot to entertain larger, thirsty parties in a place away from home. 300ml should do it
Made good experiences with this kind of clay and size in the past, can take on most teas I drink.

@Bok
Why are the letters on your pot so shiny? Is this another technique? They always look like this on my pots (sometimes more refined though):
(I know it's not the same pot, clay or quality)
