It's soooooooo bitter! It's more bitter than the 2016 Hai Lang Hao "Lao Ban Zhang Gu Shu" Ancient Arbor Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake I sampled from Yunnan Sourcing, I figured they would be of similarly sourced material.
It's a bit strong for me, I don't like teas that are this strong. I wonder if the bitterness will mellow out if aged for a year or so. The light funkiness of the tea can be controlled by my duan ni pot but the bitterness is still too much for it.

Never thought I'd have a shou that's more bitter than a sheng!
