@Bok... we have to be consistent.... We help each other ease the burden of decision making... to empty your account or not is still within control of the buyer.....Bok wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 9:24 pmOr the worst, they make you empty your accounts![]()
*ppssttt..... what control??*.... whispers to @Bok
I have money shoved in my socks ready to buy a pot from @Bok. I stalk his instagram page like a fiend
@OCTO There are passions that are far more expensive so I won't complain
I too have an 80s F1 duanni pot. Although I haven't used it much (it's 65 ml, a bit too small for my liking) and therefore cannot comment on how its patina will develop, I do like the clay which seems less muting than I had expected. I've used it for red teas with very satisfying results.

Yeah, it's a bit off-center. Okay, thanks, I thought that the pot would be from the 70's, but I don't have that much experience. In about 8 to 10 hours I'll post some photos in the Facebook group. The clay looks nice

Hard to say... since Neiwailinhong is pretty rare I think it's Hongni. I will take another look at it when I am home and compare it to my confirmed Hongni pots.
Actually pretty easy to say, show us more images of inside lid and body and we can tell you for sure!
There are 1000s if not 100000 of NWLJ out there, not rare at all. Nice ones are rare.
Actually it looks a bit too shiny to be pure Hongni, at least on your images. That leaves two possibilities: Neiwailinjiang, or much later clay 90-2000s and or not F1.Mark-S wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2020 5:43 amYeah, it's a bit off-center. Okay
The photo was taken in direct sunlight. I did not have time to set up a lightbox this morning.
