I thought the messages were
insurance for a while,
but they have disappeared together
to all the requested information :?:
On your part, if you are so kind
you can tell me again,
so it also serves as a reference
for other possible partners
in search of yixing teapots.

Thanks for your help

I did not realize where
you told me about it, although
If I remember correctly too
you did it in members.

Right now I'm just
to send a message to "Chen", I hope
Chen understands me, I've been brief
in content.

Thank you for your message.

They really are great;
some are great, others with a
only filter hole, I think in my opinion
It is better several holes to filter,
more elaborate unless you use a strainer.

Best regards ;)

Theres 2 sides to single hole vs multi hole strainer. Multi hole does strain finer particles better, but single hole will give you a faster pour, which allows for more precise brewing time. I like multi hole for pu, but id never use anything put a single hole for my rolled oolongs.

Chinese multi-hole which is usually 5 or a few more, but not to the extend of Japanese pots. Normally the effect on the pour speed is neglectable, makes barely a difference. Pour speed has more to do with pot geometry, how the different elements are balanced (spout-body-handle). The most important part for pour speed is how the spout is designed. Ratio of output and base of spout needs to be at least 1:1.3. Curving etc. add other factors.

I am referring specifically to yixing pots, as my Japanese ones have many holes and dont seem to effect pour times at all.
I have to disagree with you on this one. Perhaps it is because the smaller holes are more likely to be partially covered. I find that all my multi hole pots (all are 5 hole) have a slower pour than my single hole ones.
