Oolongs from different harvests

Hey everyone! What's everyone's thoughts on tea that are harvested from the same area, but from different seasons? I have a tea that someone gifted me from Taiwan (high mountain) and the packaging says it's made using spring and winter harvested leaves. Does it make it better/worse/etc?
People say spring tends to be thinner but more aromatic - winter is thicker.
That's how people seem to market the differences.
Weird that in a single pack, both spring and winter are mixed. Seems more common for pu erh but never heard this for oolong

I have not come across oolong of more than 1 season being mixed.
The ? is, does this mix make the drinker happy? (Lucky enough to get a gift, luckier if it is enjoyable....)
Could stop us assuming it does not make sense to blend the seasons.
Lots of generalizations don't hold up 100% of the time. E.g. I don't recommend buying tea in fancy tins when in Taiwan; yet, a couple of times good tea was in such tins given to my sister. (Or, perhaps she & I were disposed to think well of the tea given to her by her students---"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" situation.)
