Engravings, Carvings, Calligraphy and Others
This thread is dedicated to the artwork on your teapot, namely engravings , carvings , calligraphy and others. Let us share our pot’s amazing artistic reflection immortalized on the pot(s). Also add a little information so that we can learn from each other.
Pot Name:
Artistic Expression: Engraving / Carving / Calligraphy / Others
Theme : e.g. Floral , Bamboo , Hut and Cliff
Period: Let’s keep to 3 general era to minimize debates on age and era. Pre-Factory (1977 and earlier) , Factory Period (1978 – 1998) and Post-Factory (1999 and beyond) Factory is referenced as Factory 1.
Do refrain from debates on date or clay authenticity, but instead, focus on the beauty of the intended artistic message from the artist.
Cheers!!!

Good idea; thank you for starting it.
Bad lighting tonight, so black and white for now, if you don't mind. And perhaps an example where carvings are not just for big pots...
By the way; I know absolutely nothing about calligraphy, but I do look forward to learning from other people's examples and any comments that they proffer.

Very nice pots! I am loving the variety of styles.
@OCTO that Da Han Jun with carving on the lid is really nice. Pots with lid carvings are not very common, and in this case the carving matches very well with the shape of the lid.

@steanze
The lid carvings are on little SpongeBob... hehe.... the carving on the lid also extends to the side and back (neat handle) of the pot.
Cheers!
