Got a new side handle from Peter Kuo at Daqian. When I saw this crocodile handle I had to have it
Rather large for what I’m normally using, but the perfect size for casual brewing in the office.
As all of Peter’s pots it pours and handles beautifully. It might seem random, but he puts a lot of time and effort in to get the handle right for each pot.

Does anybody have experience with Pinkoi? [Wikipedia: an e-commerce platform focused on the sale of original design goods from Asia based in Taipei, Taiwan]. There's a lot of great-looking stuff there at various prices, e.g. I was looking for tianmu (tenmoku/jian ware) teacups and found stuff from <$20 to well over $400 apiece. (The ones I like are $30.) Most user reviews are auto-translated from Chinese but I've bought enough crap that had glowing reviews on Amazon/Etsy/Ali to know not to trust them too much. Do Taiwanese people who know what they are doing buy/sell teaware there? Does it have a reputation of delivering faux-handmade/ultra-cheap stuff at not-so-cheap prices unless you know exactly who you're buying from?
It’s like any commercial platform, good and bad stuff. Mostly made in China though… tea sold there is usually lower end quality, tea ware the same. Hello, I’ve been reading alot of the posts regarding teaware and I appreciate learning alot from you! Hoping its not rude to veer off topic slightly but I’m not sure if this deserves a new thread?
I’m visiting Taiwan soon and will be searching Yingge for a small teapot as a gift. Its my bestfriends wedding next year and she enjoys Lao Ren Cha over english tea. I only have a few days in Taipei and I got overwhelmed when I read Yingge has over 800 ceramic stores. May I ask for advice on which specific shops to visit for individual artists please? Or if you, as a vendor, have a physical store I can visit? I’m looking for celadon…but if you think clay is better, I’m willing to go for it

if you search for yingge, there are some comments here and there. but i would love a yingge directory or something.
