Enjoying the HeHuanShan from @GaoShan on a hot day. A nice, pure mouthfeel to this tea.

I've been getting through more medium-roasted styles of tea and old cooked puer recently (and, strangely for me, not much yancha), but hot Summer days usually call for something more fresh.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! It'll be interesting to hear what you think of the heavier roasted teas from CHT, though they seem more appropriate for fall to me.

Worth mentioning that the regions which produce these teas, do not really have pronounced seasons, so teas consumed pretty much remain the same according to taste preferences. More attention is sometimes paid to TCM properties hot/cold character of a tea kind (yin/yang) etc.

That makes sense. For some reason, I tend to drink more hongcha and roasted oolong in the fall and winter and more green tea and gaoshan in the spring and summer, though gaoshan is really a year-round tea for me. I'm not sure if others living in places with colder winters do the same. I think I've heard the TCM explanation for drinking green tea in the summer (and also, it's still fresh and at its best).

I've had people refuse more cups of certain Gaoshan, as it was too "cold" for them (tea was literally hot of course).

I guess people really take that stuff seriously. I've never been known to refuse more gaoshan unless it was terrible.

I bought it as an add-on to the "Milk White" Gongfu Brewing Set, really nice thin porcelain that I'm happy with. Thin but retains heat very well at the beginning.
I have some higher quality teas coming soon from Tea Masters and Four Seasons Tea Co which I'm excited about.
