Yixing
The geometry and smaller volume of this pot, paired with curiosity about the clay claims, is what attracted me. In your hand it has an 'inorganic' CAD-design functional sharpness about it, which is not surprising for a modern half-handmade pot.

Most people in Taiwan would call it a Bianyuan = Flat-Round. I have been interested in this shop as well, it is not the most easy to find and also not the most economical. About finished collecting my other favourite shape the Biandeng, now it is this one's turn hehe,
Not even sure what a Shuiping was called before our times, I doubt the term shuping was used (water-level), as it was stamped into the lids of many, many different shapes. Interesting question as to when this name became associated with that shape...
Very nice (and a proud spout on yours, of course). It's always good to see different interpretations of a similar style.
And it looks like you found the cure to pot-envy; more teapots! That's dangerous information...

Thanks, I call them 'spaceship shuipings', losing the base and lid interface rings and getting all aerodynamic. The proportions on your pot specifically are fantastic, that spout looks like it can pour. I don't have anywhere near the antique pot network you apparently have over there, so I am planning to see who can make me a modern clone of one of these from xiaomeiyao. I have been digging for example pictures for a few days now and you just dropped the aesthetic jackpot, as far as I am concerned! The last people I spoke to seemed hesitant to take on pots that in the 50-100ml volume range, if not for an impressive mark up just for the size requirement. And I wonder if the shuiping 'badge' was meant to designate particularly balanced pots before it stuck with the 'classic' everyone now refers to?
I always understood the 'water level' to refer to the pot staying relatively level when floating on water because the handle and spout have the same mass, whereas spout or handle heavy designs would tip over.
