Ode to the Kyusu
Hi Mukti,
Your kyusu looks to be a purple clay Banko Yaki (萬古焼) style teapot... as denoted by the gold sticker. It also states "Yokkaichi Banko", referring to the Japanese city of Yokkaichi which is famous for Banko-yaki goods. The final line on the gold sticker reads 日本製, Nihon sei, meaning "Made in Japan".
The characters imprinted into the clay are 峰月, or Hougetsu, which I believe refers to the kiln that fired it, rather than an individual artisan.
