Welcome!
An easy introduction to gyokuro can be obtained from Denstea.com. They have several versions available. Many of us here order from shops based in Japan, but if you're ordering for the first time, what you can get from US-based Dens should easily beat offerings from brick n' mortar shops that scoop from large containers, or sealed pouches in Asian supermarkets. I don't order as often from them anymore since I subscribed to a tea farm, but when stocks run low, or my tea subscription doesn't have quite enough gyokuro, they quickly ship me fresh and tasty tea.

Welcome to TeaForum @blkgreymon. Debunix recommendation is very good and Den’s even has a nice Gyokuro Tasting Set that can provide a good overview intro of different types of gyokuro. With spring here, it is now Shincha season, so might as well try some of these first flush teas as well
