Depending on the year, he will make a few of these glazed kanyu( a type of crazing) porcelain-like pots in different shapes. This pot here however is a bit unusual in the fact that it came paired together with a teaboat. Somewhat unusual considering he doesn't generally make tea boats, making it a bit of a rare one-off pairing.
The pot measures 110ml up to the rim and is glazed on both the inside and outside. No need to worry about lingering roasted oolong flavors finding themselves in your green tea!. Lid fit is excellent, typical for many of Gafu's pots.
A 13 hole direct filter means the pot can be used both for a variety of teas without having to worry about any cloggging.
