On offer is this very cute little teapot. It’s in a lovely Qingshuini clay, it looks like one could eat it!

Period is, for once very precisely, Chinese Republican. The seal, clay and workmanship point to it.

As can be seen very obviously, it has undergone some Kintsugi upgrading. Formerly, half of the lid knob had been broken off, I’ve repaired that and of you don’t mind me saying- I think it looks better with it!

This is an excellent teapot, the slightly low profile and very nice clay makes it an extremely versatile teapot. Clay is high fired and it pours fast! This is old clay as good as it gets.

Volume: 100ml
Condition: tear and wear as appropriate for an antique, Kintsugi repair on the lid. Small chip on the inside spout hole.

Price: 2400NT(800$)
Paypal fees and EMS shipping included.

I really like the shape of this pot. I bet it would feel amazing in the hand too.
I would love to relieve you of this one, but the older yixing pots may always be out of my price range.
I'm sure somebody will save me from the temptation soon though.

It does! I always of chocolate chip cookies when I hold it. It is high fired, but at the same time it is quite balanced and does not feel heavy in the hand.
