Has anybody seen this style before?

I only found a similar but not identical teapot in one of the Facebook groups. It does not have these yellow blossoms and the craftsmanship looks a bit more refined.

It shows up in F1 catalogues. Also there are many examples of this shape in FB groups.

@klepto kidding aside, I can not really think of any better English-speaking place to find information on Yixing. You can ask questions and the replies will get scrutinised by the collective. Other places might provide more one-dimensional information without corrective element. :mrgreen:

Ask any successful chef, none was spared the experienced of being burned by hot oil.... it's all part of the learning curve.

Cheers!

Thanks for the catalogue photo. Could you please show me one example on Facebook? I searched over an hour and did not find anything. :(

@OCTO

Great, thanks a lot! It's a beautiful design :) This one comes pretty close to mine. Do you know from what era this particular teapot is? Is it from the early 80s?

What's the reason for this change in color on this pot? Is it a flaw from firing? (The pot is wet because I cleaned it today.)

I don’t have any pages saved for this pot. Here are a few though.
