Wow, you drank out of a teapot bought from alixpress, and you are STILL ALIVE!!
Great video, though this might fool people that its safe to order teaware or anything else through them. :D

It’s a Yixing in name only. I’d rather use a $5 gaiwan

What that doesn’t tell you is that you probably can also buy the same pot for 50$ at a Western facing shop. :)

I've got some cheaper clay pots (bought for $5.99 or $6.99 about 10 years ago in a brick & mortar shop, Wing Hop Fung), but I worry less about drinking from them because they're too cheap to have had pretensions of Yixing-ness and thus too cheap to be worth any adulteration attempting to make them resemble Yixing.

Thank you. And I tried to tell people should go to a reputable seller in the video. Maybe I could have made it a bit more clear that aliexpress is not a reputable seller :)

Yes! I dont like gaiwans that much but I would consider it a safer option :)

Random cheap clay, I presume that is cheaper than clay made up to resemble yixing.
