This is our newest rescue, she was also a Christmas gift to me from my manager.

Chip named her "Q", yep just like the character. She is a little hellion and is now 9 months old.

No pets here per se... I do, however, have a fluffle of rabbits roaming around behind my house... (how many knew that was an actual term?)

Here is a shot of some found last week.

Noonie, cats and boxes, lol.

Spirit is a cutie😻 Thanks for the picture.

If you want to 'trap' a cat, get a box!!!

Also, it has been proven if you use masking tape on the floor to make a square, a cat will sit inside of the square, haha.

This was Miss Emily, guardian of the Teaware

Image

[and one time destroyer of teaware when she leaped for the counter, caught the edge of the towel underneath the dishdrainer, and sent several beautiful pieces of Petr Novak's wood fired shino teawares to an early doom on the tile floor.]

After Miss E's passing, a work colleague told me about a litter of kittens in the parking area by the industrial workshop area where he rented a bay to work on his cars. It took about a week but I caught Humboldt and Nebula at about 8 weeks old. They were not pleased after their first trip to the vet....

Image

and while they sometimes spilled out from my lap

Image

they are very respectful of the teaware

Image

Humboldt likes to tempt me away from the tea table by offering to play footsie....

Image

and he actually seeks out & eats spent tea leaves (greens, light & roasted oolongs, puerhs, all), though he does not drink the tea itself. I sometimes find him going after leaves in the worm bin bucket if I'm too slow to put it away, or he finds a leaf or two in the drain of the sink....
