So good to see some links to alternative sources of Balhyocha. I love to support the Morning Crane offerings--and FYI, here's the plan for 2023
Note: Our TeaBuy Korea 2023 will begin on Korean New Year's Sunday January 22, 2023. It will be first announced on our Morning Earth Korea Facebook page.
--but I have worried about that fragile single link to these teas in case the individuals involved decide not to keep going with it. Good to know it is becoming more widely available. Even in the markets in Koreatown here in LA I have seen almost exclusively green teas, not the balhyochas that I really love.

That's very close to my birthday- I will remember for sure to buy myself a little present at that time!

A few years ago I brought some Woojeon from the above vendor to a tea party at Victoria's house, everyone seemed to really like the quality.

They do have quite a few different Korean teas. Looks very interesting. Always glad to see another source for Teas that I enjoy so much.

There are couple teas available at O-five rare tea bar.

Ah, these descriptions full of cocoa references are really hard to resist.

The owner of the shop is also the owner of what used to be called "29B Teashop" in NYC, which rebranded to this during the pandemic though they still have a physical location there too.

@debunix, do you have any favorites?
i'd rather just get a few really good things than sample widely. i'm impressed yet bewildered by the amount of offerings.

I am getting a 300g back of that grandmother Balhyocha. I tried a sample of it a while ago and was impressed. Also ordered 50g of a green they claim made some people cry with joy (hahahaha) and another 50g of balyhocha from a producer who purportedly has the oldest bushes in Korea. About it for me.

I am interested. The problem I have is ordering is done without knowing what the shipping cost is going to be (not even a ballpark, it seems), and once you order you cannot cancel if the shipping cost ends up being unreasonable. Is there a way to get a shipping estimate that anyone knows of?
