Yixing Spout Repair

I have a yixing teapot from my late grandfather - I don't know when it's from, but if I had to guess I'd say 80s or 90s. I'd like to use it again; however, he broke the spout a while ago and I'd like to get it repaired. I can't remember where I saw it, but I was thinking of making something out of metal to go over the chipped part, and use food-safe epoxy to secure it. Any other ideas for how I can fix this?

I'm happy to try this myself, but is there anyone who can handle that kind of repair? Willing to pay for cost of materials and labor.

This would look great with a thin piece of sterling silver wrapped around it.

You could probably have a local jewelry maker craft a simple cone tip that slide over spout.

Stumbled upon this man, https://knjitea.com/ recently. Can't vouch his work first hand though.

I’d second the above Nissan seems to do a very good job. Although with this extensive damage I’d go with a metal cap. This kind of repair I sent to China via a friend. The logistics would probably not be worth it if you’re based in the West.

Nice pot, looks like it could be late 70s
