Hey all! I recently got some new teacups (https://www.markmohlerpottery.com/shop/ ... s-in-shino), but unfortunately not long after they were washed with dish detergent. The detergent smell is proving very stubborn; I've tried boiling the cups in filtered water for thirty minutes, but that doesn't seem to have solved the problem. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might work?

I’d try an overnight diluted white vinegar soak (1/3 vinegar:2/3 water), followed by 30min gently simmering water bath, and then let completely dry for a few days in sun. Should work.

Okay, thanks! I'll give that a try.

This worked perfectly! Been using the cups for the past few days with no issues. Thank you so much @Victoria!
