I have a beautiful tea bowl made by Pagasari. It has become quite stained on the inside and I would love to get it clean and return it to it's former state.

The inner base is a very uneven texture, making it unsuitable for whisking matcha, so I used it exclusively for drinking green and white teas for some years, hence the stains. The glaze on the tea bowl is also very heavily crackled, so I'm worried about using vinegar or cleaning agents and it penetrating too deeply into the bowl. Has anyone successfully cleaned stains in similar teaware?

I do routine cleaning on my very crackly cups with baking soda, and I’m quite pleased with that for normal use. I used the sodium percarbonate protocol Victoria described in the cleaning and resetting teawares topic for The flower of forgetfulness which is my most loved crackliest bowl:

Thank you for the tips, I will try that and update. Very pretty interior, it looks quite a bit like mine!
