Late Qing / Early R.O.C. yixing zini teapot with enamel decorations
- Mengchen base mark
- volume 130ml
- repaired handle (broken and reglued back with a 2 part epoxy glue), otherwise perfect condition
- loose lid has a bit of sidewise wiggle room (about 2mm)

Late Qing/Early R.O.C., large decorated pot, cca 470ml. Perfect condition. Top quality zini clay with a perfect firing, chocolate brown with a velvety soft surface.
Excellent, for example, for puerh and liu bao or aged white, where, thanks to the larger capacity, it can maintain a high temperature for a long time, which makes it possible to give the tea a fullness that the gongfu preparation does not capture during longer steeping. Also works nicely with black teas (hongcha).
