All right folks, this will be my last for sale post. I have finally reached a contented place with my collection and all past listings will be going up on eBay. But his pots are hard to come by, so I wanted to post it here before it goes up on ebay.
If you aren’t aware of this artist, look him up and admire his stunningly beautiful Bizen bug sculptures. I guess he makes teapots for fun. And what fun teapots they are! I am letting this one go because I have a smaller one that I prefer the shape of. I am just not into ball shaped pots.
His pots are both refined and elegant, yet rough and natural. Very light weight with a bonkers Marge Simpson filter that will filter the finest dregs at the bottom of your favorite bag of tea. It is nearly impossible to clog up the filter. This kyusu clocks in at 190ml and ships with tomobako and cloth. $800 shipped in the US

That’s just a lid holder. It has a very thin flat lid.Ethan Kurland wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 9:50 am+1; &, the lid with the long bottom going into the pot impresses me also.
