For sale, a 120ml modern zhuni pot from Jing Dian Tao Fang studio. The brown colouration is a firing effect. I've used this pot for brewing hongcha, for which it works very well. The clay is neutral and retains both top and bottom notes, while highlighting the tea's own qualities. Overall, the tea feels soft and pure.
Single-hole filter and very good lid fit. The pot is very high-fired. There is a small kiln crack near the rim, which is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the function.
The price is 155eur including shipping in Europe. Postage to the US and Canada is also possible, for an extra cost. Please PM me for details and extra photos

Nice pot, and great size too (I find 120ml to be the perfect size for just about any tea)
You write that it's a "modern zhuni pot", do you know when it was made? And are you willing to share where you bought it from?
Some additional pictures would be nice (the kiln crack, inside of pot, bottom of pot, inside of lid). Apologies for being demanding
Again, a really beautiful pot imo.

Thanks! Yes, many of my pots are also in this size range. Some are bigger, others are smaller, but this particular size is very versatileBalthazar wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 4:25 amNice pot, and great size too (I find 120ml to be the perfect size for just about any tea)

I don't know when it was made, but I got it just around six months ago from pu-erh.sk. There were only two of these "brown zhuni" pots on sale then. My guess is that it would be a more recent pot from JDTF.
Sure, I will attach more photos here, as requested. These were taken in daylight on my tea table. Sorry for the slightly dark photo of the inside, it's hard to capture that under natural light! There is some visible accumulation of tea oils on the bottom. The photo showing the single-hole filter also features the kiln crack, which you can see on the side.
