I really bought this little shibo and it's similarly sized sibling because it was ultra cute,



but it does brew up a few sips of fine gyokuro quite practically for when you want a sip but not a large caffeine charge

debuinx - Thank you so much for sharing all of those photos..you really capture the beautiful glazes and feel of Shawn's pieces. I love the layout too...like immersing oneself in a sea of beautiful glazes. I love seeing the variety of styles and glazes ezpecially as I am new to Shawn's work, and right now there are only a few styles represented in his Etsy shop Seeing your pictures was like a history lesson of sorts..and gave me a broader understanding of Shawn's work.

I love the little shibo. Two of my cups from Shawn have a simlar lovely moss green glazes..will hvae to get pictures. I love the small format, as 40ml teapots are my mainstay for many reasons, in part because of the wonderful concentration of flavor but not the caffeine (I have elevated cortisol levels).

My 4th ended up being busier than expected pus my husband came down with a very painful abcessed tooth and our dentist was out of town....so I did not get to photograph my pieces from Shawn..yet

We can be patient. Fine ceramics like these are timeless, after all!

More of Shawn’s work. This series of gaiwans had an interesting textured glaze. I bought small ones, 35 ml and 60 ml. The design is such that I can use them with puerh and yancha without burning my fingers. They’re ideal for experimenting with samples.

I was just preparing my morning sencha, and Shawn's chawan was drying upside down still on my teatray from last night, and it was one of those moments when something reminds you of why you first admired it all over again....

I needed/wanted another cha hai. When these two appeared on Etsy I couldn’t choose so I ordered both. The glazes are beautiful and interesting and the cha hai are comfortable to hold.

New items up on Shawn's Etsy right now, including some like this translucent porecelain gem, with the handy flared lower rim that is finger-sparing with very hot teas!



If I didn't already have my little gem above, I'd be all over this one
