lUKAV28thanks for the feedback!

Glaze is not glaze, I had bad experience with crackle glazed pieces from Japan in the past... I suspect it has to do with at what temperature a tea is brewed.
Did you find good use for them?

Firstly I suspected the water as I used filtered (waterlogic hybrid) when brewing in cracking glaze pot and not bottled as I did with chaozhou pot. That is why I tried brewing with filtered water in chaozhou pot too and it was just that much better. Hopefully will have more time to experiment further during the weekend.
Did you find a good match for the crackle glazed pot? I am considering getting one for myself :)

Jiri Duchek did his first firing this year. Some lovely stuff. These are some pieces I’ve acquired.

@swordofmytriumph I know what you mean :D. I buy things directly from him. Through the time I bought quite a few of his pieces also shown in this thread so he notifies me from time to time about his new work or if he made something I was asking for. You can check available pieces of the latest firing on his site but he usually has some pieces left from previous firings too.

This is his site:

Many pieces in the 2020 inaugural firing--all the ones that really caught my eye--are already sold. But this is a good thing as I still have one new piece of European teaware sitting at the post office (awaiting a signature) and the teaware display must be rearranged to make room for other newcomers from the past year.....
