I will be there for a couple days next week, I think Saturday and Sunday. Personal shopping not a high priority... Interested in just surveying who's doing what and a tip-toe into starting to learn more about the commercial side of the industry. I believe the vast majority of the attendees are industry people.

If by any chance anyone will be there, please let me know. Will be interesting to swap some impressions at least.

I won't be joining (wish I could), but enjoy Xiamen, one of my favorite cities in China.

Let me know if you have any Xiamen recs. Outside the expo, a Beijing neighbor who is Xiamen-native will be showing us around a bit.

BTW, your avatar is a Robert Bresson reference? 8-)

Nothing too specific... Gulangyu was nice, although (surprise, surprise) crowded. I just loved the general atmosphere of Xiamen. Definitely make sure to try some fish congee for breakfast.

... although with a native showing you around I'm sure you won't miss out on anything essential ;)
