Sometimes I find this very fine particle in my tea strainer. I’m talking about that beige, kinda pollen looking stuff. I’ve found it it different kinds of tea. Some teas don’t have it.
Anyone know what it is?
What is this in my tea
looks like that fuzz that sometimes white/green teas have
That is char from the wok processing. It is the small parts that are burnt during processing.
Edit, the beige is probably small parts of the tea leaf that mat have broken off when you picked the tea out. I wouldn't think it is a problem though.

My understanding is that the beige pollen are the tea hairs from the tea leaf. I think they’re often thought of as beneficial to drink (imparts more flavor, some mouth feel). You will find more of them on some of the fuzzy black teas, silver needle, sheng, greens. If there aren’t broken bits in the tea, I’ll avoid using a filter to keep these in my brew.
