‘Blooming tea’ Does any of it taste great, or is it just for looks?

One time while wandering around in a mall in CT I was lured into a tea shop (maybe Teavana?) by an employee giving a demo of ‘blooming tea.’ I was impressed by how beautiful it was, especially displayed in a nice glass teapot, but wondered if it would actually taste good or not. I don’t think she offered any samples! It seems like it would be a nice thing to present to guests on special occasions. Have any of you ever tried any varieties that taste as nice as they look?
Mostly Jasmine tea if you refer to those ball-shaped teas with a flower in the middle. Quality can range from the bad/bland to decent quality Jasmine. Mostly gimmicky though.lemmiwinks wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 8:11 pmOne time while wandering around in a mall in CT I was lured into a tea shop (maybe Teavana?) by an employee giving a demo of ‘blooming tea.’ I was impressed by how beautiful it was, especially displayed in a nice glass teapot, but wondered if it would actually taste good or not.
