Someone on here mentioned on another thread how they use a water flosser and noticed a significant difference in the taste of there tea, so I picked one up and I can't believe what a difference it makes. If you have the means and haven't tried one I highly recommend it. I use it before any of my major tea sessions now. A bland uninteresting tea can turn delicious and vibrant. The difference really was amazing.

Wait, what? Flossing between your teeth with water before a session?

Ya look up water irrigator or water flosser. It's amazing all the little bits of food stuck in there affecting your taste.

Very interesting. I'd never heard of a water irrigator!

This reminds me of when I was little I loved to let the water from the hose flow into my mouth for a minute, then when I went back in the swimming pool I could taste the pool water's difference very clearly.

Give it a shot, I got mine for 40 bucks on amazon. I can't tell you how much a difference it makes, even from flossing which I do regularly. If you do it report back tell me what you think.

I may have been the one who originally mentioned it. I was almost embarrassed to do so. The difference was impressive and surprising. It doesn’t replace regular flossing but the water flosser will remove food bits from your gums that you never imagined could remain after regular flossing. In fact, I was astonished by how much crud it removed after a thorough string flossing. I suspect that removing these bits allows us to experience the tea flavor without the interference of these rotting food bits. I now use it before every session.
