Homemade Camellia Sinensis flower tea

My tea plant seems to think it's spring, as it's been blooming like crazy for the past month. I decided to take advantage of that and dry the flowers for making tea with.

So I picked the flowers and dried them in the oven. I used the lowest temperature (170F) for two hours on convection mode.

The tea flowers and a bit of persimmon and honey flavors as well as a slight floral note.
I greatly enjoyed doing this, as this the first harvest that I've taken from my plant. It is still to small to harvest leaves, maybe by next spring.
