Have you ever found bugs/beetles, hair or anything else that shouldn’t be in your tea?

Hello everyone!
I just found a beetle and a short thick hair in a pretty expensive Long Jing (Xi Hu Long Jing from Hangzhou) and I’m curious if anyone here ever found something like this or anything else that doesn’t belong in the tea? How common do you think it is to find something in the tea that doesn’t belong there?

Welcome to TeaForum we look forward to your introduction. Tea is made by hand so it is not uncommon for non-tea items to find there way into your tea parcel. This is might be especially true with lower end tea that is processed very quickly. Although I’ve never seen foreign particles in Lipton tea bags, probably too broken up to notice  . There is another thread that discussed this issue found in some pu’erh cakes; viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1058

I would say that isn’t common to find in high quality long jing. In an old puer cake, sure.

How much $ did you pay per gram?
