Since I'm fully stocked on oolongs, I want to get some fancy black tea this Black Friday, namely, some high-quality JJM, lapsang, or Taiwanese hongcha that isn't mine. I was planning to finally order the Zhengshantang Jin Jun Mei from Lapsangstore, but they excluded all the Zhengshantang teas from their sale this year and I feel they shouldn't be rewarded for that. Wuyi Origin is discounting their tea by 20% and I might pick up some of my favourite Wild Lapsang and their new Chigan, although I have some remaining stock from 2024. Maybe I'll go with Essence of Tea, though their black tea selection is tiny. Nannuoshan and TheTea don't seem to be having sales, and Song never does. I was looking at a Taiwanese farmers' association site selling competition Ruby 18, but they only have stock from 2024 and of course, no BF sales. #FirstWorldTeaProblems
I should probably work through the tea I already have, but that sounds too sensible right now. I like chasing down new tea almost as much as I like enjoying the good tea I've already discovered.
