More of the same on my end except I visited Hong Kong and Shenzhen this month.

It wasn't primarily a tea sourcing trip, and I was with my wife, who keeps an eye on expenses. But I did pick up four interesting sheng versions, some oolong for gifts, and a couple of odd samples of "witches broom" prepared sheng maocha and Da Hong Pao, tea sold as small bundles.

All that is leading where you would expect, to blog spamming. It's hard to know when to mention posts since some cool version reviews are in draft form now, including a really nice Vietnamese sheng maocha, but then I did just go to China, so it's a good time.

Review of the first two of those sheng from Shenzhen, pretty good versions for costing next to nothing.

About the trip itself, more on a travel blog theme.

I bought some Yunnan Sourcing teas, with this "wild arbor" He Bian Zhai version recommended. It's pretty good, although I get the sense some others like it more than I do, and it's probably not really a good-value tea, selling for normal retail for what it is.

Review of two nice Yiwu versions from a known supplier, more of part of checking out and considering mid-range priced sheng.
