Dear vendors,

I live in Japan working with a wholesale manufacturer of Japanese and it’s an amazing experience for me.

I’ve been sharing as much as I can on Instagram etc. but would like to share here and connect with tea lovers.

For blogging, this would be the appropriate section?

For introducing the company directly would the vendor section be better?

From April until now the 1st and 2nd flush seasons have been too busy, but moving into July I’d like to start a daily share.

An I limited to photos- no videos?

For now I’ll share as below:

Today I publicly declare the start of my 90 day Yamabuki Nadeshiko drinking challenge.

I’ll drink at least 1 liter of this tea everyday as my tea of choice in both its bottled form, and kettle brewed (reasons below).
ヤカン、急須やペットボトルで頂きます。

Yamabuki N is a microbial post-fermented dark tea (think relative to China’s pu’er tea) with a wonderful aroma and fragrance.

Yamabuki can be gulped like water without the worrying about the “moldy taste” some fermented teas have.

It is good hot or cold brewed for summer.
The loose leaf has a highly fruity aroma.
It is enjoyed in PET bottle form for convenience but can be easily brewed in large quantities using tea bags and a kettle (for a more robust flavor).

The micro fermentation process is quite amazing-utilizing Koji mold in a process similar to production of Japanese Shochu.

Leaves are all organic produced in Haruno of the Tenryu region in Hamamatsu City at tea fields 300-500 meters above sea level; utilizes 2nd (with 1st) flush teas rich in catechin.

It is my dream that Yamabuki will be made as common an item as sake, miso, and soy sauce- as a delicious product that enhances human health; it is a product of local ingenuity that supports organic cooperatives- a great push for organic farmers in Shizuoka.
Research still being conducted.

The more I drink it the more addicted I get 🍵

Research 🔬 on Yamabuki Nadeshiko has shown blood 🩸 sugar levels of those who drank 1 liter daily to stabilize well, and suppression / reduction of the diabetes enzyme / hemoglobin A1c in adults tested.

Like all good things in life that add a layer of prosperity to our experience here, result through time and effort, and to an extent everyday continuation, is key.

Gotta run!
