I recently launched a new series on my YouTube channel where I taste tea with my husband who doesn't really like tea. We're only 2 episodes in but it has been a lot of fun so far. Gyokuro and Shou Puerh were hard nos.

Ah nice to see you define astringency as a puckery dry mouth ‘feeling’ and bitterness as a taste.

Great idea Nicole, go Zen master gong fu cha on him in the future.......

Anyway props to Jason, internet star. Also thanks for steeping directions, I think it's super important to add amount of tea, volume of gaiwan/pot, temperature and step time (from pour to pour) even if it's seemingly obvious in tea culture.

Encouraging to watch a healthy, happy, marriage. If I was ever in a relationship with someone like Jason who would participate patiently doing something that she did not care about, I don't remember when. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! We joke about it a lot but he really is incredibly tolerant and supportive of my tea obsession.
