Another podcast episode for you all. I was a little tea drunk for this episode :D

The focus was drinking a Lishan High Mt Oolong twice; once in porcelain gaiwan and once in clay pot. The results of this experiment lead us to some pretty fundamental topics of tea drinking like concentration and looseness, balance and so on. So in the end it was fun AND educational ;)

Noah, enjoyed hearing Shiuwen talk about mouthfeel and texture of Taiwan oolong, always special to hear this, along with the hilarious exchange you two have. I too find porcelain gaiwan so neutral to be too neutral with many oolong, not enough heat, although it can provide a baseline to start brewing new ones, to then transition into a particular clay teapot to really bring out the body, aroma and flavor🍃.
