Great tips by TWL:
Antique teapots were fired only once (modern teapots are usually fired twice). This means that the lid fit of antique teapots is usually not as precise as the lid fit of modern teapots. It is easy to adjust to this feature with the following brewing techniques:
– do not fill the teapot to the very rim, leave 1-2 mm of air
– before you pour out, use your thumb to gently press on the rear side of the lid knob, causing the front part of the lid skirt to press against the pot’s mouth
– begin the pour gently, tilting the teapot at a smaller angle, and increase the tilt gradually as the pour progresses. If you tilt the teapot at 90 degrees from the beginning, it is likely that the leaves will clog the spout.
I had been trying to figure out why the lid leaks when I pour sometimes from my F1 teapot, this explains that. Great tips, for people getting into older yixing teapots. I was about to buy one of your gaiwans but they have been all been bought up

Any idea on if and when you'll get a restock of the 2003 Hong Kong Henry “Conscientious Prescription” 7542?

No shipping from Taiwan to Canada for the time being as far as I am aware edit: seems just to have re started, but was not open last I checked (week ago or so) and probably now with some larger delays/backlogs...

This is why i made an order while in Czech Rep. to ship here, but now i'm running out of time and getting increasingly nervous. Hard life of a tea addict/hoarder.

Great! Apologies for the delay, we had a boom of orders so it took us a couple of extra days to mail them all out.
