For the third year in a row, we are carrying First Flush Longjing Tea from Mei Jia Wu, West Lake.
https://mudandleaves.com/collections/ne ... mium-grade
This Teji/Special Grade Longjing is harvested before Qing Ming Festival (Mingqian) from Mei Jia Wu 梅家坞. These are the first buds, and are more tender and delicate than later harvests. Mei Jia Wu is one of only a handful of officially-recognized Longjing tea gardens beside the West Lake in Hangzhou.

Enjoy 15% off when you pre-order your 100K DaYuLing High Mountain Tea this week:
https://mudandleaves.com/collections/ne ... pring-2021
At around 2500m, the 100K Garden in DaYuLing is one of the highest elevation tea gardens in Taiwan and one of the few surviving gardens in DaYuLing. Only around 100-150kg of material is produced each spring. A late frost took last spring's harvest, but we are happy to report that this year's harvest has been a success. The tea will ship out at the end of May.

New Falangcai and Qinghua Porcelain Teacups from our studio in Jingdezhen.
These teacups feature a qinghua (cobalt blue) underglaze painting on the inside of the cups, and falangcai (enamel painted) design on the outside. The inside features a dragon in qinghua and the outside features a phoenix in colourful falangcai.
Falangcai 珐琅彩 was the name given to colourful enamel overglaze painted porcelain produced first for Emperor Kangxi during the Qing Dynasty. The production began in 1696 and was influenced by the introduction of enamel painting from the West. Falangcai porcelain requires skill and time to make, and was originally produced exclusively for the royal family.
