@TeaTotaling Thanks!

No plans in the near future (our big sale is usually around the end of November), but if we do, I'll be sure to post an update here.

We are still offering Free Shipping with e-packet for orders over $99 to countries where it is still possible. For other countries where this is not possible, we have capped shipping prices, absorbing the rising costs of shipping during the pandemic.

New Arrivals this week, including some Fanggu Technique Jihong glazed porcelain with qinghua landscape paintings. These are hand wheeled and hand painted. Firing is tricky with these tea cups. Using the original recipe for the red Jihong glaze requires reduction firing at a narrow temperature range. If the conditions are off, instead of a brilliant red, the cup is left with a faded grey or white/pink.

Show us how your MudandLeaves teapot has seasoned for a chance to win $75 off your next order at MudandLeaves.com.

The Rules:

1. Share an original photo of your seasoned teapot from MudandLeaves (Could be an Yixing, Nixing or other teapot) on Instagram. A seasoned teapot is one that has developed a patina (shine, tea stains, etc.) from use.

2. Tag us @mudandleaves and include the hashtag #teapotseasoning so we can see your entry.

The winner will be announced on June 28.

Multiple entries per account permitted, but only one entry per teapot. Entering the contest means you agree to have your photo featured on our website and social media. We will choose the winner and announce it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and in a follow up blog entry.

Have fun and good luck!

High Mountain Oolong from DaYuLing 95K-98K Gardens is now available on our website! This spring's DaYuLing High Mountain Oolong is excellent. It has a rich flavour, thick mouthfeel, and a long satisfying finish.

Unfortunately a spring frost prevented us from sourcing any tea from the 100K Garden in DaYuLing this year; the good news is that the tea we have received from other gardens in DaYuLing is some of the best we have tried in years.

On your site these pots are described as having 110 ml Volume but then further down in the details are described as holding 170 ml. Can you confirm which is correct?
