Hello TeaFriends, we’re iTeaworld.com
We’re a small team from China, brought together by our shared passion for tea.
Our founder, Liu Yongqiang, has been in the tea industry for over 20 years, and the rest of us are younger tea lovers who are still learning every day. We’re based in Guangxi, where we have our own ancient tree and wild tea gardens, along with a small-scale processing facility. Visitors are always welcome if you're ever nearby!
In addition to our own gardens, we also work directly with tea farmers across China. Many of them are in remote mountain areas where farming is still traditional, and the tea trees are either wild or semi-wild. These communities often consist of only the elderly and children, as younger generations leave for work in the cities. Pesticide use is minimal, and the tea is as close to nature as it gets.
We also collaborate with farmers near well-known tea regions. While these teas grow just outside the “famous” areas, they share very similar terroir but come at a much more affordable price — we see them as great value for those looking to explore quality without the premium label.
Besides sourcing tea, we care deeply about tea education. Over the past two years, we’ve been trying different ways to make tea knowledge more approachable and fun. Our belief is simple: tea shouldn’t feel intimidating.
Some of the things we’re doing:
Looking forward to learning from all of you and joining the conversations here.
Warm wishes,
The iTeaworld Team

Some of the things we’re doing:
- Writing in-depth blog posts and engaging on forums like Reddit
- Sharing tea “micro-lessons” on IG, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
- Hosting live tea sessions on TikTok
- Creating comparison kits (e.g. 6 types of Chinese tea) to help beginners build their taste and sensory vocabulary
Looking forward to learning from all of you and joining the conversations here.
