Hello from Beijing.

Some of you may already know we (my partner Shuyu and I) have been selling privately for the last several months. We are now expanding out to a larger audience. If you're already familiar with some of our teas, you might know us as a yancha specialist. Yancha will remain a focal point for us, but we do plan to expand our selections well beyond that (and a few of the Liubao teas we already carry) in the future. We are starting that process this summer with a collection of handcrafted Anhui greens from our friends at Yuxiangzhai.

In addition to tea, we also plan on making some of the Dehua porcelain, metal craft, and other teaware items from artisans we represent more widely available.

If you're interested, please take a look at our current selections at https://www.daxuejiadao.com (password: kuaile).

Thank you very much for your support.

A pinnacle selection and truly a labor of love! Congratulations!

Recently tried the full roast rougui.

These are my notes.
A stunning tea like a velvet hammer. Soft and rich yet presenting a strong but pleasant astringent note that establishes a firm flavor structure.

Taste is difficult to describe but includes rich milk chocolate and strong minerality as steeps progress. The early steeps include a bright plummy note that balances out the darker flavors. There is a sensation of walking into an ancient church and seeing a dusty canvas in the shadows layered with little mountains of paint - defined by strong textures and a vague impression of old, long forgotten madness.

The minerality is bound tightly with flavors of dried ginseng and ginger.

I've had a couple conversations with tjkdubya in other tea communities but wasn't aware he became a vendor.

Might add that anyone who doesn't want to be choked by roast-massacred teas is well taken care of in this line-up
Well curated and interesting line up, clean and sophisticated.

For those with the big pockets, try the Laocong Tieluohan. It stands out among the rest, a tea worth trying at least once if anything.

Highly recommend the green teas:
Beautiful label, hand painted by the tea maker. I notice the strokes he uses possibly reflects the different shapes of the tea. Masterful! The subject is also very appropriate.

These teas were all either naturally farmed from old gardens or from the wild. No direct agrochemicals were used.

My thoughts on the offerings:
