Alright first of the Cellar stored tea is up for sale online, hope you all will like it :D
Final tasting note today from our resident guru and tea master extraordinaire:

"This tea is full of vitality and can be enjoyed immediately or with further aging for better results. The tea cake reveals rich golden yellow young tea buds and smells of flowers, camphor and smoke. The tea taste is complex and rich in layers. The tea soup has turned into a clear chestnut red. In the beginning, there is a refreshing floral fragrance. Then early infusions have a strong fragrance of camphor, wood and smoke: long-lasting aroma and robust sweetness in later infusions. Spent leaves are soft and thin, pig liver coloured and multi-stalked. Tea leaves of grade 4 to 6."

OMG!!

HAHAHAHA...

with the Taste of HK cakes, would you say it's a good time to transition to Malaysian storage for a few years? By this I mean stuck in a cupboard on the third floor for a few years...

Funny you said that! We are actually going to pull a batch of these out of our cellar. Definitely already benefited from being in the cellar and ready for its next chapter what ever that maybe.

The 3310 is a really nice tea, great value for the money. (I've only had it with Malaysian storage.)

Have you also tasted the 5350? I’m thinking of buying one of these, but not really sure which one to pick.

Unfortunately I haven't. The 5350 might be an even more interesting choice if you haven't tried a "raw" liubao before (although in my opinion the 3310, although formally "ripe", is not an overly cooked lb).

Are your recently added Liu Bao teas eligible for the Black Friday rebate? Checking our your website to try to find out, I have reached the point where I am being asked for a credit card, but I am not seeing a rebate applied.

The 2008 Liu Bao is great value, taste more aged than the year suggests 👍🏻

We are preparing a couple more loose Liu Bao, one 1985 and the other 2001. Should be available next week.
