But with more sexy freckles.
Bok's instagram is like clay porn...
I take that as a compliment. I think the darker Zini makes the Duanni pop more on this one. It looks like delicious chocolate. My other tiaosha excels with roasted Oolong of any kind.
Welcome to TeaForum. New members need to get acquainted with the forum and interact a bit before pm function is active, this is to prevent spammers from taking over the site.russiankid wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 4:04 amHi Bok! I can't message you (probably because I'm a new member?), but I was wondering if you could shoot me message. You mentioned earlier in your thread that you would be wiling to source pots from Qing/ROC for people. Could we possibly discuss this?
Thank you; I really enjoy your posts in the yixing threads, super informative.
@russiankid you can send me a message via my Instagram account as well!

For sure, thanks for letting me know. I'll interact on some of the other forums a bit, in that case.
Few things that will be popping up soon:
A F1 Green label, so called apple-shape teapot, Neiwailinjiang(Zini inside-outside-coated with Hongni), in a little over 120ml.
And another heart sutra Julunzhu from the Qing/ROC period. This one will be relatively affordable as it has been repaired in the past with quite a few staples and has a chunk missing. Pictures of this one will follow after clean-up...

If I can comment on the apple pot. It's the twin of my work-horse puer pot and I love it!Bok wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:09 pmFew things that will be popping up soon:

Thanks! Also worth mentioning <again> that this kind of Neiwailinjiang gathers patina very fast and beautifully. Property-wise it performs closer to Hongni, due to the inside coating, contrarily to a simple Neiziwaihong which is essentially a Zini.
If anyone wanted to go sister-/brotherly-brewing tea with Karma – this is your chance
I'll also say that in my experience NWLJ/NWLH patina has an interesting property of how sometimes it looks redder and sometimes a deeper purple. I suspect that this is some property of light color and the temperature of the pot.Bok wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 10:32 pmThanks! It seems some antique JLZ have very standard Chinese characters of the heart sutra like the one you have while others look like cursive Chinese such as this one:

Any idea on the rationale behind these two types of calligraphy?
