Thank you! I really appreciate the purchase!
TeaLife.HK -- Classic HK-style Teas!
Time for another sale! 18% off through July 1st. Please note it may take 2-3 weeks to ship your order at this time as I'm packaging everything myself! Those of you who have purchased from me know I do my best to protect your tea in transit. Good tea is worth the extra care (and the wait)!
I am running a sale through the whole of July: I'm looking for full-time employment, but haven't even heard back yet, so I have no choice but to run another sale since TeaLife is my sole source of income! I wish I had enough sales volume to sustain myself with this business. I'm going to put in everything I've got in July before my savings run out!
18% off sitewide, and everyone gets at least one free sample! Lots of great stuff coming up. No code needed at checkout.

Jay, It's been about a year since I gave your website a good look. I forgot that you are so good at writing about your teas. What a pleasure to read!
Your comments about your selections of dahongpau show what we can learn about a tea & ourselves from experience. Like you, for this particular tea, I have enjoyed drinking a less respected selection more than some very expensive ones. It can be awkward to be with a friend sharing his best version with me who cannot stop from being honest & telling him that it does not thrill me & that I prefer a more "ordinary".....
Teaforum readers, I advise you to take the time to read Jay's comments & brewing suggestions. Some of his teas seem quite expensive but may not really cost much per infusion & for the pleasure derived.
Cheers

Thanks Ethan! Glad you enjoyed the descriptions and I've really learned a ton in the last two years (and still know very little, as I discover when I drink with more experienced folk here)! Good dahongpao is really something special, but some people may indeed prefer cheaper, blended dahongpao, and there's nothing wrong with that. The good stuff takes a lot of experience (and a lot of serious dahongpao drinking) to appreciate what makes it special compared to cheaper versions. There's a lot of very bad 'dahongpao' out there, including many beidou and qidan varietal teas! It's a lot of fun finding (and drinking) the good stuff though!
I joined the very talented Max Falkowitz for dim sum earlier this year. Check out his great article on dim sum in HK!

Hey TeaForum! I’m offering 10% off through the weekend (Black Friday through Cyber Monday) and 18% off on clay teapots. If you’d like to purchase a teapot, please let me know as I’ll have to refund the extra 8% manually. Have a great holiday weekend!
18% off through Boxing Day (December 26th)! Discount applies sitewide. Use code ‘DECEMBER’ at checkout. I recently added several new teas, and will be adding more in the weeks and months to come! Thanks to everyone who purchased this year! I wasn’t planning on doing another 18% off sale, but bills need paying!
19% off this week with code '2019' at checkout! Lots of new stuff added.
Hi All! The Chinese New Year season is here! A lot of my suppliers are shut down until Valentine's Day.
I am open for business, however, and offering 19% off sitewide at TeaLife.HK with code '2019' through Valentine's Day!
Hong Kong is only shut down for three days (5th-7th February), so I will continue to ship through the break as long as the items you order are in stock: the rest will ship after Valentine's Day. Thanks again for all of your support and best wishes for the Year of the Pig!

How long did it take to process the order? I ordered on 4/25 and it hasn't shipped yet or at least the the status hasn't changed. I emailed on 5/2 just to get an idea of normal processing time and they said ~3 more weeks to process which would be 5/23. I emailed again on 6/8 to get a status and have not received a response. I will wait till tomorrow before asking for a refund or submitting issue through paypal.
