I am Eva, an artist from Helsinki, with a small pottery that makes Earth-friendly Tea Art and flowerpots from our iron-rich wild clay.

I have always been interested in teaware. 10 years ago I worked in Yixing, Dingshu and got discouraged realizing the environment harm pottery production does. After China, I started to work only with our local wild clay, which has not been appreciated much here. To me, it is most beautiful...
We also use eco-energy at our pottery. #sustainableceramics #earthfriendly

Welcome!

I've always figured that there must be many native clays just as conducive to fine tea brewing as the best Yixing or Zhuni if only people would look for them. While I've not had the opportunity to do head-to-head comparisons between the best Yixing and other clays, I can say that I love the effect of some of my unglazed iron rich clay teawares from nontraditional sources.
