For sale: 1 bag of aged Darjeeling from 1994
This was found amongst my papers, all dated around 1994. The pouch has not been opened and it is free of any pests.
As you can see the package is in excellent condition and is from the famous blending house, Twinings, by appointment to her Majesty the Queen. Pouch still maintains its original royal purple hue, indicative of careful storage.
*** I am certain that a deal like this will not come along again ***
This is the Royal Standard of Darjeeling teas.
Considering the pricing of aged teas in the Western market, I think $17/gram is a reasonable price.
Whole unit only. Cannot be divided!!!
Price is $49.99 USD (shipping generously included)
CONUS sales only. Will consider trade.

FS: Aged Darjeeling from 1994
this is an incredible find. an item of Epic rarity.
thanks for offering this.
to whoever snags this: imo it's best brewed as an intact unit without unwrapping. kind of like how people add pieces of aged bamboo wrapper/basket to the pot.

And with a matching purple mud square base antique teapot, that might get you once in a lifetime majestic gongfu session!
Maybe verticals on 20th century Twinnings teabags is all the rage in royal circles.
I remember seeing a video from Twinnings years ago about infusing tea. The main takeaway? Do not shake the bag while it is steeping. I must say this recommendation has stuck with me ever since : every day, I make tea, and never shake a teabag.
