Letting go of the last of my unused teapots and I've saved the best for last
As many of us on the forum know, Sou's parts are known for the smooth pouring and impeccable handling and this pot is no exception. The black glaze on the underside of the handle makes this pot in particular particular comfortable to use. Top half of the pot is covered in ash while the bottom-half is encased in a thick black glaze. Interior of the pot isn't glazed but has a shiny coating that appears to react with tea overtime and patina over time.

Yamada Sou Woodfired Kyusu
Yes beautiful kyusu, love the way the black shinny glaze looks like fire rising in the kiln.
