Peter is adorable....although I'm sure he's not as innocent as he looks in that image.

Fish photography is quite an art. I've done a lot of it for my aquarium clubs and I really appreciate the effort it takes to get pictures of the speedy little fish like the barbs, although the hillstream loaches make it a lot easier. I am sadly without fish at present, but can't quite bring myself to give away the empty tanks, in hopes of setting them up again one day. Underwater gardening is almost as fun as an in-the-ground garden, but fewer flowers....

Thank you. He has his moments of “joy”, otherwise he is a really pleasant happy-go-lucky cat.

This is my lovely lady, Midnight Rose (who goes by Rosie), who thankfully has been very well-mannered around my teaware (so far).

And this is my Sebastian, who was a bit of a troublemaker and always on the go--I definitely had to watch my teathings when he was bouncing around! I lost him recently, quite unexpectedly--it's been hard not having him around.

hopeofdawn, great photos of your beautiful cats. Thank you for sharing.

We have a 'Rosie' too, pictures in a day or two.

Very sorry for your loss of Sebastian, it's so hard to lose a family member.

Rosie is gorgeous, and so was Sebastian.

Even a little cat can leave a lion-sized hole in your heart.

Thank you--I'm finding that's very true.

A friend David Bowes, who is an artist in Torino, having some fun with a Jean Arp like painters palette.

Here's our dear Precious, she was such a sweetheart. We lost her earlier this year. She was a real purrbaby.

Ceylon, another of our rescues upon her return from slipping out of the house one night. She always loved sitting with us during our morning tea session.

Biscuit (all white Maltese) and chewy (black eye patch, havanese). The E collar was for a hot spot she had, but she's on the mend now.

This is our good boy, Roscoe, who is a red heeler. We got him as a rescue when he was about 2 years old. Here he is being extra cute for the camera.

He is a medium sized dog and weighs about 50lbs. He thinks he's the size of a puppy, though, and likes trying to climb into our laps.

I'm glad I finally found this topic, so many great cats and dogs.
